End of Registration for the Session 2015/2016 for Undergraduate Students of the University

The 12^th of February 2016 has been set as the end date for registrations for current fresher and returning undergraduate students. In previous years, the University of Port Harcourt had always been lenient with its wards concerning school fees payments, course registrations and registration procedures into its undergraduate program so as to allow those without currently convenient means to continue as students despite payment of school fees at the time. This though caused the imposition of a fee surcharge on extra time taken to pay up the fee. This allowance, though, has been undone by the University due to misapplied outcry by the student community to remove surcharge charges overtime.

The University of Port-Harcourt in a bid to adhere to its senate decision at the 405^th Extra Ordinary meeting to abolish 50% surcharge, set the 12th of February 2016 as the end date for all student type registrations into and within the Undergraduate program. This will therefore mean that every existing undergraduate student of the school should endeavor to finish all necessary registrations for the current session 2015/2016 on or before this date. All registrations, in this sense, means the payment of school fees, registration of courses for the current year and probable carry-over courses and every other online requirement. This information applies to both the fresher and returning students of the university. In essence, for a student of the school to remain bona-fide scholars of the institution for the current session in progress, the school fees/ charges of the student must be paid on or before 10th of February 2016 to allow for a safe margin of error and mistake so as to allow for time enough also to complete the online registrations of the courses to be studied in the session identified. UNIPORT SCHOOL OF BASIC REGISTRATION FOR 2015/2016 SESSION IS ON

After the release of the list of students who have been admitted into the School of Basic Studies, the University of Port Harcourt has opened the portal for online registration into the programme. The school fees for the 2015/16 session is 71,500naira of which must be paid after being logged in online.
Students who were admitted into this program should go online to complete their online registration before payment of fees.

The University of Port Harcourt on Wednesday 21st October, 2015 released its list of shortlisted candidates admitted into the basic programme. The exact date as to when the session starts for basic has not been released but clearance into the programme is expected to start a week after the release of the names shortlisted candidates. The post ume registration for the University of Benin is on and running. It started on the 4th of August, 2015 and is expected to end on the 13th of August, 2015. Every candidate who scored above 180 is expected to purchase the post ume form.

REQUIREMENT:

1. Your Jamb Reg number.
2. A passport photograph 2.5cm by 2.5cm on red background.
3. A valid email address.

INCREMENT IN UNIPORT POST UME FORM

This is to inform the entire public that the price of post ume form is now #5,000 at the bank and no more #3,000. This information was received yesterday as the admin of UNIPORT ENLIGHTEN went to pay for 19 people who had given him their money to pay in the bank on their behalf. The bank attendants on opening the payment portal realized that the price of the form had increased from #3,000 to #5,000. The attendants stopped taking post ume payment yesterday 10th August, 2015 by 4:15pm and began collecting #5,000 for post ume this morning(11th August, 2015).
The information was made available on UNIPORT's website on 11th August, 2015 (being the next day). This #2,000 increment was said to be added for checking of result and other reasons best known to the school.
Therefore to as many that will want to pay for their post ume after the above date, post ume is now #5,000 and all those who have already paid the #3,000 are mandated to return to the bank with the sum of #2,000.

PLS: IF YOU PAID #3,000 IN THE BANK, RETURN AND MAKE SURE YOU PAY THE #2,000 ADDITION.

The form for UNIPORT post ume is out!!! Candidates who are eligible to write are hereby invited to purchase their form on the Monday 3rd August, 2015 - Friday 21st August, 2015. The information as sourced from Uniport reads:
The University of Port Harcourt, Choba hereby invites candidates who chose the University as their first choice in the 2015 Unified Tertiary matriculation Examination (UTME) and who had a minimum score of 180 to the 2015/2016 Post-UTME Screening Exercise. Candidates who Dentistry as their programme of study are hereby informed that they could be admitted into other/related areas of study, subject to acceptable performance. Alternatively, they should contact other Universities for the admission into Dentistry and contact the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) for further directives.
